The YSL hardware that punctures the Le 5 à 7 shoulder bag didn’t come about by chance. Eager to find a signature that perfectly represented its androgynous, timeless aesthetic, Saint Laurent looked to the expertise of French artist Adolphe Mouron Cassandre. And so, in 1961, the monogram was born – expressed here in a classic gold tone that sings in harmony with the canvas backdrop.

Anthony Vaccarello unveiled the original 'Le 5 à 7' bag at Saint Laurent's Spring '21 show - it became an instant classic. Marrying a timeless aesthetic with modern practicality, this large Supple version is made from naturally grained leather and embellished simply with Cassandre hardware that doubles as the fastening.

Introduced with the brand’s Pre-Fall 2022 offering, the Saint Laurent Le 57 features the same petite shoulder strap as the Le 7 a 7, allowing the bag to be worn tucked under the shoulder. It's been crafted from lambskin in the brand’s Carré overstitching that's punctuated with the house's iconic logo plaque in gold-tone metal. The adjustable shoulder strap allows you to choose your desired length. The Le 57 somehow feels perfect for days out and nights on the town simultaneously.
